I believe it is no secret to you that nations go through multiple stages and successive phases, moving from weakness to strength and from strength to weakness.

In times of conflict, disagreements abound, and commentators write extensively. However, a believer should carefully scrutinize everything they say and write, keeping in mind the words of Allah: “Man does not utter any word except that with him is an observer prepared [to record]”. (Quran 50:18)

The criticality of difficult times necessitates that the words and writings of the wise be imbued with a spirit of perseverance and resistance, not with despair and lamentation. This is due to the gravity and responsibility of the written and spoken word, and its significant and lasting impact on the reader and listener.

Yes, it is necessary to have writings that accurately describe reality, as this facilitates finding appropriate solutions to problems. However, if we write a description of reality, it is fitting that it be accompanied by a prescription for a cure.

I believe it is no secret to you that nations go through multiple stages and successive phases, moving from weakness to strength and from strength to weakness. Some of these stages can extend for decades, perhaps even centuries, and this law applies to all nations without favoritism.

Yes, it is our destiny to live through this period of our nation's weakness and the convergence of our enemies against it. Indeed, this period brings much pain, sacrifice, and hardship. However, it also presents opportunities for resistance, struggle, heroism, and resurgence.

And if we are unable to experience the acts of struggle in our current time, the least we can do is live by its meanings and outline its principles, until the time for its practice is ripe. This time will come, and the law of alternation will be realized, Allah willing. We will witness our nation's transition from weakness to strength, and from retreat and decline to glory and empowerment. And that is not difficult for Allah.
